This tiny hideaway is tucked into a quiet residential community near Rathtrevor Provincial Park with its old growth forests, jogging trails and jungle gym. Steps from the cottage is a world famous 7.5km sandy beach famous for its huge sandbars, great beachcombing and sandcastle building. Across the Strait of Georgia lie the snow-capped Coastal Mountains and the Sunshine Coast. Seals frolic off the beach while eagles circle above and you may just be lucky enough to spot a pod of whales. You're bound to be visited by a family of diminutive white-tailed deer. For sure you'll want your camera along!
This cottage is ideal for a family with one bedroom and pullout couches in the living room and covered porch. The bedroom leads into the living room and is separated by a wall and privacy screen. The well-stocked kitchen is tucked away behind the living room. In the covered porch you'll also find the eating area and some comfy stuffed armchairs for quiet chats.
When you can pull yourself away from the awe-inspiring beach, a bird sanctuary with a long stretch of boardwalk borders the Englishman River at the opposite end of the street from Rathtrevor Park.
