Casa Girasoles (Sunflower House) is tucked away on the sandy beach at Los Ayala on a quiet road on the outskirts of this small fishing village. The beach is uncrowded and safe, even for a non-swimmer. After an early morning swim you can visit a beach vendor who will make you breakfast created from hollowed-out pineapples, filled with tasty fruit, vegies, Grenadine, and chile.
This delightful newly-updated casita has two large bedrooms and two full baths. The master bedroom has a king size bed and ensuite. The second bedroom has 2 twins which could be made into a king, with a second bathroom adjoining. All windows are screened and there is a screen door at the entrance. A large covered terrazza with table and chairs is a great place to eat meals and watch the activity on the beach. There is also an outside shower and BBQ,and behind the house, a shaded garden area with seating.
A small casita behind the casa will sleep two additional people in twin beds; it has its own bathroom. (see Casita Girasoles) Two other casitas share the compound -- the one adjacent to Casa Girasoles is not currently being used; behind it is Los Chitos which is also available for rent.
